First let me say that I have been keeping fish since 1954. Started with a 10 gallon tank and couple of guppies and mollies. In high school I bred all the live bearers and angels and zebras and would sell them to the neighborhood pet stores. Angels the size of quarters would get me 10 cents apiece. I had a salt water aquarium in the early 70's and even had a pair of maroon clowns bred in my tank but there was no hope in those days of raising and young as the salt water hobby was barely off the ground. I was out of the fish keeping business in college and didn't have another tank until I was married and it was a 125 gallon fresh water tank. In and out of the hobby while working. I retired 10 years ago and my wife and I set up a 200 gallon freshwater tank that was wonderful until we had to move. I have been thinking about setting a large fresh water tank and that is how I found this forum. I am looking to set up a 250 gallon or larger fresh water tank. Any suggestions?
