Hello all! I’ve been a long time visitor of the forum but finally decided to make an account. I’ve been running a saltwater tank since late 2021 and as of 2026 I am finally running a successful saltwater tanks thanks to advice I’ve read on this forum. I’m hoping to branch out into Montipora this month now that I have an AI prime arriving soon!
My current set up is a 30-something gallon curved front tank with two clownfish and something like 55 green Rhodactis mushrooms, a cabbage coral, Xenia and two clownfish. It’s underutilized and I learned how not to run a reef tank with it. The second is a fluval evo 13.5 which is going very well. I have two hammers, Xenia, a leather coral, one mushroom (from my other tank) some macro, an army of hermit crabs and a frostbite clown. I’m hoping to get a monti cap or two soon to see how it goes!
I appreciate all the advice I’ve found by searching the threads and I look forward to learning more.
