I wish there were more tanks available that don't have the standard proportions; shallow or long tanks are always so pleasing to scape and look at.
I agree. I wish there was a bigger market for them. Shallow tanks have always interested me more than tall ones.

Mounted a few frags off the sand bed today finally.

Ive been going through a rough patch with my tanks lately. One of my clowns jumped out of the tank while I was at work one day. So now I’m working on getting a lid for the tank. Also Moved a torch and a frogspawn over to this tank in an attempt so save them, as all the euphyllia in my nano went south at the same time. I lost my favorite large 5 head torch yesterday.

Added a BRS co2 scrubber to the intake of my skimmer and the results speak for themselves. You can see how my pH shoots up after adding the scrubber on Jan 6th.

How has the Herbie swap been treating you? I am doing the same on mine and having the return up the back as you have. Would love to hear your experience with it or anything you'd change!

It's actually been great. I would recommend using a gate valve instead of a ball valve like I have just to be able to fine tune it a little more. It's settled in and is completely silent now.

Currently dealing with some diatoms on the sand in most areas.

Added a Gyre XF150 to the left side of the tank running at 40% and moved the mp40 to the back of the tank on lagoon mode. Still trying to tweak the flow. Still struggling with coral placement, hence the sand bed.
