I was collecting macro on our floating dock and these are all over it. 3/4" long, mantis like appearance, water temp is 60 degrees. Is it friend, fow, or food?

Skeleton shrimp. I've had them before and they are really cool, harmless hitchhikers. A fish might eat it but it certainly won't harm anything.

Very cool!!! Thank you for the info. I will do some research and see if I can keep them happy.

Thanks again Bongo Shrimp!

No problem! If you have a refugium with macro algae they would be very happy in there.

I'm pretty sure they are micro predators so they will probably eat some pods.
