Invert question?

So I was thinking about getting a pistol shrimp for my yellow watchman goby named Donald, what type is good and don’t the shrimp make one of t loudest noises ever or something?

I've had a couple of tiger pistol shrimp and they've been great. They do tap on the bottom glass sometimes while in their burrow. You can hear it but it's not deafening or anything.

they snap and you can hear them like a TIC TIC TIC sound. you can get any type of pistol shrimp and they will bond eventually.

Maybe consider Candy pistol shrimp ( Alpheus randalli ) as they stay fairly small and are not a threat to other critters. Also not too loud.

Sounds like a loud click. Sometimes they do it alot. Sometimes not at all. I have a tiger with my yellow watchman. I have heard the candycane doesn't get as big. Either should be fine.

I had one for a while. It might be loud for your fish but its not that loud.
