iPhone 3G S

I just bought the 3G less than 4 weeks ago...ARRRRRGGGGG...paid full price for it...I was ready for the upgrade on that phone. They never said a word about this as I blithely went on my way having paid the $199 plus. These are the kind of things that just tick people off!!!! I plan on calling and seeing if I can swap out for the new phone since it was so recent. I heard rumor you could if it was in a certain amount of days. We shall see.

If only Verizon can get the Iphone now! I just can't bring myself to switch to AT&T.

Why i had Verizon since before they were verizon and they suck, all their phones have proprietary software and they use CDMA so i cant travel with them.

AT&T is spending billions expanding their network which is allready leaps and bounds beyond what it was with cingular, id rather be with them.

if you bought a 3g before may first I believe you can get a free upgrade.

You have 30 days from purchase to return it anyway.....$20 restocking fee is all they can really get ya for, then just rebuy the new one lol....I WOULD.

Too bad I will be waiting......by the time I am eligible they will probably have a new looking model :)

I am 8 days to early for the return and 2 days to late for the upgraded software, if May 1st is the deadline for software upgrade. I bought it on May 2nd, Sucks to be me :(. I suppose I could call customer service at Apple, AT&T said there was nothing they could do.

if you bought a 3g after may 1, then you can ask for a free hardware upgrade to the 3gs. call AT&T, and tell then you just got it, and want to see if you can get a 3gs.

software upgrade is available to everyone at any time after the 17th!!

If your still under 30 days you could just return it today and wait right?

I just got my 3g on the 2nd of this month.. If I can swap phones it's a no brainer I will but if they want me to pay more for it I will prob wait b/c im laid off right now

it will do MMS, as will the 3G with the 3.0 OS, when AT&T turns it on. you wont have MMS next week, and it's been said it will be closer to Aug before it will be available.

In every country but the US it will do MMS and tethering, eventually when their networks ready AT&T will allow both although they will most likely charge you to tether.

No way, 40 bucks max. That's what the 3g datacard plan costs.
