Which of a button or regular scoly is hardier? The button looks like a different creature to me. But ultimately, is one easier to grow and maintain? Thanks.

Neither are difficult, but neither are super easy as well. Both welcome a regular feeding.

They are both about equal but homophyllia australis can be a challenging coral when it comes to LPS for some. Medium to lower lighting, some nutrients and weekly feedings plus low to moderate indirect flow.

My button scoly was one of my first corals. It thrived through my phases of dosing without testing, my phases of huge temperature swings, and salinity swings. Based on my experience I'd say button scolys are super easy to take care of
