I am going to upgrade my lighting on my jbj 30 from a AI Prime HD so that I have more par and more coverage. Will two AI Primes have the same power as a Hydra26? Thanks!

If they have the same number and type of LEDs per puck and the Prime wattage is approximately 1/2 the 26 then the answer to your question is very likely yes. The only way to know for certain is for someone to take a PAR meter and test both units with one of the 26 led pucks shaded.

I bought 3 primes for my tank because I wanted to spread out the 2 light pucks to more even coverage

Thanks for the response, yeah I looked at their website and the prime has exactly half of the leds the hydra does. I'm going to pick up another Prime today because I do like the added benefit of being able to better customize your coverage as well as power coming from each unit

Nice!
Here she is :)

Thanks guys!!
scfurse77- I made a new top just for you [emoji6] nah but for real my corals and nems love this new set up

Ever since I saw a maroon clownfish jump tanks at LFS(yes jumped from his tank to a frag tank) I decided I had to have some sort of lid

How did you make that lid? I am going to set up a JBJ frag tank soon and need a lid. I have rambunctious kittens that are constantly climbing on top of my QT tank and I need a way to not have my frag tank become a kitty pool

Honestly I don't think so. The netting is held on by pressing a lining into the grooves of the frame.. strong enough to keep fish in but not a cat out. Now here is the million dollar question.. why in the hell is your cat 'careless' about falling into water?! Lol goes against everything I thought I knew about the feline species

They're kittens chasing each other and i have a covered 10 gallon there now. They chase each other to the top of it. I am certain a they'll inadvertently fall in once and never again. But to me, once is one time too many
