Is carbon dosing right for me?

I've been going back and forth trying to figure out if carbon dosing using vinegar and/or vodka would be the right decision for me. Here's my situation: 75g newer mixed reef. Been up for 4 months and was seeded with bacteria from previous system. I'm having major issues with GHA and am trying to implement different methods to battle this. I have 2 emerald crabs, 2 blue hermits, 2 turbo snails, 1 tuxedo urchin and 1 starry blenny to help battle it. I've also ordered more hermits snails and 1 more emerald crab to aid the battle. I do but weekly water changes of 25% and am running a skimmer, plus ATS but still am fighting this battle.

Would carbon dosing help to reduce both nitrates and phosphates? Or should I just keep battling how I am?
It's to the point that in between water changes the algae will cover the rocks like an uncut lawn.

I wouldn't carbon dose with 10ppm nitrate tbh . It won't really do much for phosphate either. Just keep doing what you are now the tank is just going through it's stages . Keep on top of it and you will win
