Is goniopora fully open?

Is my goniopora fully open?
He has been in the tank for about a week now. In the sand bed. I have fed him some Reef-Roids.

Okay thanks. Will eventually the polyps get as along as the 2 longest ones?

Goniopora are a colony so you will not se e polyps extended in same way

I have feed him 3 times already this week. I'll probably cut down a little bit or just keep up with water changes so I don't over feed the tank.

Supplemental feedings definitely benefit Goniopora, a homemade slurry or specifically designed foods such as Goniopower are recommended. This is a photosynthetic coral with the presence of zooxanthellae.

That what the LFS told me and that was why I bought it.....! I can tell it bounced back when I fed it....Mine didn't last over 3 months...it was a slow dying in my case and starvation was the symptom as I saw.

This is a photosynthetic coral with the presence of zooxanthellae.
