He got caught in the powerhead as I was waiting for the silicone on the cage to dry.
Is it worth to try to save him in a separate tank?

Any idea what I can try? He's presently in a 2 gallon tank with an air stone (no pumps) and clean water. Not sure if I can add any meds to the tank to help?

How long have you had it and what kind of nem is that? Other advice people have given is to put it in basket and put in main tank so it gets good flow and water. I don't think you need to give medication unless you just got him and think he has an infection.

before assuming that, place it is a Chinese cups with holes in it or similar container where it gets water flow and see if it perks up which ive seen happen.
Time for guards for power head to prevent this

I would try and save him. Some nems can bounce back from an incredible amount of damage.

Thanks everyone, he’s in a plastic breeder thing in my main tank now. Not sure if it’s enough flow but will go find something that will be more suitable

I had him for 2 days. It was beautiful

Since it was a BTA I would try to save it. Just keep the water quality high. Once it stops clouding the water and starts opening up again I would love the container into the main display. Unless you can maintain good water quality in quarantine.

I don't have iodine. will have to look for some

I want a BTA eventually for my Ocellaris Clowns, but the difficulty of maintaining a Clownfish-suitable anemone is making me think twice.... would be a pity as I really want that symbiosis.

My clowns hosted in my Duncan coral, maybe try that?
