is it bad to induce a split??

ive had this nem for going on 7 months now he is about a foot across i like my anemones i want more but dont want to add differnt species just keep my bta's i have 2 one is small orang my big guy is green how can i bulk up my little guy or get the big one to split with out cutting him or should i just wait it out it will happen???

Large water changes, 50% and +, can induce a stress split. Spot feed the smaller one and it will grow.

Also, higher intensity lighting can induce a split as well. Give how blown up that nem is, it could handle more light for sure.

iam newer at this i had a reef tank 10+ years ago and failed i was young and a partyer so i never had a stable enough place but i read and read since then stuff cost more back then as well lol but i diy alot of stuff cut cost in half so i was able to buy my lights and stuff there still not the best and iam not fully understanding par but i got 1 black box wich is adjustable i have blues blasted 100% and whites 75% it said 180watt then i made mistake order this whitw box both full spectrum but its 150 watt led's its kept them alive so am sure there good enough i also spot feed them both 1-3 a week i figured if nem needed more light he would move there he ended up on the white box side when i had to move the rocks never went back the same so the placment was on the 150 watt white box led

its a 55gallon i figured when i moved he would split cause i did a 50% water change and moved how big can just a single nem get?
