Seems to be white caps encrusting my dry rock . I also scratched my nail over it seems like a distinct new layer . Not sure what.

I have a tuxedo urchin but he doesn’t leave things looking like this after cleaning

Looks like lime or sediment from rock. Are you able to blow any loose with a turkey baster

Could those spots have had glue on them at one point? I've seen glue cause that. Or maybe alk precipitation. But I agree it's not coralline.
