I recently bought a bubble tip around two weeks ago, it spent the first couple of days moving around trying to find the best place in the tank, it's ended up in a little cave with not much light or flow, I didn't want to move it because I didn't want to put it though Any more stress, my clown fish sleep in him and bury right into him, so I was hopping that's a good sign. My paras are all good. I've tried feeding it but the clowns keep stealing it. Is there anything I can do to help it out a bit. As you can see from the pic it's mouth is open so I'm guessing it's hungry.
Many thanks

Ok thank you. Should I try to feed him?
I kept BTAs for about 15 years. I was given one from a friend that reproduced many times over. I never fed them. They caught some food as it passed by and my clownfish also fed them. You will hear other stories from those who feed them...If you feed, keep it to a minimum at first.

It’s fine. It will move if it is unhappy.

Your clowns will help give it the nutrients it needs. I directly feed mine every so often just to give them a little something different. You’ll see mixed opinions on this but my thought is if it works for you then keep doing it. I haven’t seen any issues personally but if I did I would stop. Nems can be funny. I have one that literally went the whole way around my tank in different spots only to end up where it started!

Did your nems ever behave like this?. I've just left it be, I figured if it was unhappy it would open at all and the clowns wouldn't go near it. Hopefully it will be ok
Many thanks
