One of my clown fish has been refusing to eat for the last week. I tried giving him garlic, shrimp and pellets, but he won’t eat anything. Today, I noticed him laying near the heater and within 30 minutes he’s now laying on the sand and breathing heavy. What should I do? For reference my other clown fish is doing just fine. He’s eating and swimming like normal.

I cant see rest of fish to determine anything on body including any damage. Fish is thin and breathing heavy which is never a good sign. Garlic will do nothing and diet is not complete. Add mysis and brine shrimp to diet. Please post another video longer in length showing also side of fish

Sorry, this clown is moribund, actively dying. There really isn't anything you will be able to do for it. In terms of "damage control", can you post a clear video of the other clown? I want to try and see if the issue might have begun to spread to it.

As to what may have happened - we have to do some more digging: How long have you had the fish? Does the tank water test good?

That fish does not look good my friend. I just went through the same kind of symptoms on 2 of my Clownfish and unfortunately, they did not make it. I hope yours pulls through.
