Thought I’d share my tank and my current set up. More so looking at placement and angle of my flow. I have my orbit facing downward on the right side.

Is that pump on the front viewing panel?

What size is the tank? Are you running the pumps at full capacity?

Looks like the surface of the water is moving pretty good. You might have some dead spots towards the front glass. You can add some food to see where the flow takes it or Red Sea ab+ that stuff is yellow/green and you can really see the flow in your tank.
It’s all about what you’re trying to keep in your tank also. If you wanted a full sps tank I’d say add another pump but if you’re just keeping softies you could probably get away with what you have.

Looks good from the pics. You want to see good movement and ripples on the surface. If flow is low in the front maybe adjust the return nozzles slightly down to the front if they are adjustable. But see if the surface is moving good if your try that. Your right panel pump is made to move the surface

Wow that is for sure something I had no idea. So the right pump panel should be more faced up?

Yes many use the crossflow powerheads for surface movement. People usually place these at the waterline. It’s not its sole purpose but can be used for that.
