Is my GSP dying?

I got this GSP from my LFS a couple of weeks ago and glued it to my back glass. I’ve noticed over the past week or so that the top is turning white. Is this a bad sign?

That small triangular portion looks dead to me. Luckily GSP is pretty resilient.

It’s up to you. If algae starts growing on it, then I would cut it.

It should grow over itself with time.

You can easily cut off the dead part with a razor if you want.
