Is my orange linckia sick?

Hi!!!

I bought this sea star a couple of weeks ago and she had the correct acclimation ... unfortunately today like white spots on her appeared ... I don't know what's going on.. .any idea!?!?!? I've read they are delicate and the temperature of my tank has been changing a little bit (getting warm) as it's been really hot in the city... any opinion? something I can do to help her?

This one looks pretty mottled: View Linckia multifora

How old is your tank? Do you scrape a fair amount of algae off of the glass and such?
Linckia can be a bit of a challenge if you are running a ULNS type system.

Mine is blue but it has not really changed colors in the 9 months that I've had him.

Well... my tank is just 3 months old... and SORRY, you guys are right... it is a FROMIA STAR!!!! I have several corals and 4 fish... the fromia star is my most recent little animal. My parameters are ok and the aquarium guy told me I don't need to feed the star, do I? The star still moves all around the tank. Another pic:
