Help, I just completed a 3 day blackout and the coral has turned black! Is it gonna rot and die?!?

Unlikely, palys are extremely resilient, probably just adjusting back to the normal schedule. Looks just to be closed up, which is normal after he hasn't had any light for a few days

I was so nervous because 1.5 months ago when I also did the blackout, it didn't turn black at the base. It's the first time I've ever seen something like this, okay, let's see what happens later....
