Is my Powerhead to strong?

My tank is 150 litres and the Powerhead I have is 3000l/h

I have two clowns but I think it might be to strong?

what one would you recommend I get?

Generally you want a wavemaker that is between 10-20x the tank volume, or 1,500-3,000 l/h. So as long as your wavemaker has a variable speed option, 3000 l/h should be fine.

I might look for a pair of smaller units, ie: 2x 1,000 l/h.

lol, i was just typing what Blaxsun said. I keep my turnover around 30x
