Greetings everyone, my tank is almost 3 weeks old now and I have noticed these wavy lines in the top portion of my sump in the front and back. This was how it was delivered and I can't tell if it is some type of stress crack or maybe some glue mess that was done while adhering the inside ridge to the sump. Please take a look and see what you think? the glass feels smooth on the inside and out. Maybe it is some type of salt creep in there? I have notified Red Sea support and sent them pictures and waiting for their opinion also.

Salt creep would easily wipe away. Did you try washing it with some RODI water first? Maybe get some better pics?

Yes, I tried to wipe it off but it seems to be inside that little inner ridge piece and the main outside portion of the sump glass. I speculate that they glue this ridge in place and not really sure what purpose it serves. maybe saltwater got between the ridge and the sump glass somehow but it is like 3 or 4 inches higher then the water line.

Here is a couple more pics. One is just overhead view showing the inside ridge piece of the sump. I guess I can try and squirt some RODI in there with a baster or something and see if it goes away?
