dood... your params need a little bumping up then make sure your calcium reactor will handle the load

typically my params are

460 calcium
9 alk
1400 mag

I dose mag every week. I think its a must when using a reactor. I alos am doing some potassium but this is not as important. Keep a regiment of mag dosing and the cal and alk will bond together better from your reactor. Another question is....how are you managing your regulator?? is it manually run or are you using a controller.

I personally use a controller.

In my effluent I make sure the range for my ph is roughly 6.5-6.7. WHile my tank should be a stable 8.4. Occassionally i will get a slight bump in ph when my tank lights turn on but that is normal and my regulator turns off.

I test about every week before water changes....let me know if you want help.
