Is my trochus snail dead/dying?

Today when i got home from work i found him on the sand bed. Upside down in the back,i moved him to front to keep an eye of him. But its been 5 hours and still no sign of movement. Is it normal behavior or its a goner? I bought him in August.

Give it some time. Mine have been lethargic like that for a few days and come back strong. Others have died. So my vote is wait a bit more and see.
