Is my urchin dead?

Hi! So we’ve recently had this tuxedo urchin. And we also have this halloween hermit. They met, and at first, we thought the hermit was just cleaning the urchin, until we realized it ate about 10% of the spines. Next thing we know, the urchin is completely bald
We’re not sure if its still alive. Can anybody please confirm. Thank you

2.) See if the "tubes" on the bottom of the urchin are moving
