Is S&D or DWV pvc reef safe?

Is S&D or DWV pvc reef safe? I am trying to make my own 4” nylon copepod sieves and all I can seem to find in the 4” is S&D or DWC pvc. Any better ideas? I was hoping to use a coupling to make it so they can stack.

We drink from PVC pipes. I sure hope it is safe.
