I read that while they're little a wrasse will eat them but I'm not sure if that's universally true or if it's specific wrasse species.I have a ton of these critters in my tank. Looking for a way to control numbers. Anybody have any suggestions? I borrowed this pic from @fenijer. They had a post and didn’t want to hijack the thread.
Did you ever find the actual name for these little dusters?I read that while they're little a wrasse will eat them but I'm not sure if that's universally true or if it's specific wrasse species.
I didn't. I put him in the tank & hoped for the best but I have a wrasse so he may have been a mid morning snack because he was so little.Did you ever find the actual name for these little dusters?
What did you put in that became a snack? The feather duster?I didn't. I put him in the tank & hoped for the best but I have a wrasse so he may have been a mid morning snack because he was so little.
Yes, the tiny featherduster. It was a hitchhiker on some pants that I bought for my hermit crabs to rip up (I plant it, they destroy it, I plant it, they destroy it ... it's a fun game). I put it in a different plant that the crabs leave alone but if it swam off, wrasse could have had a snack. What did you put in that became a snack? The feather duster?
