Is there any consensus on the best way to add a refugium to a Reefer 450 sump?

I've been able to find bits and pieces of people discussing refugiums with the Reefers and seen some pictures, but no real "this is the best and agreed way to do this". You'd think by now someone would have come up with something that has been universally accepted and everyone else has copied.

Am I missing something? Has someone come up with a best way to do this?

I haven’t had any luck with this either, thinking about using egg crate to section off my skimmer and using the rest as the fuge?!

Check out @Berlibee ’s Reefer 250 build thread. In the third picture down in the very first post, you can see his nice add on refugium set up. I’d imagine you could do the same by drilling a couple of holes for the plumbing in the stand partition wall of your 450. That partition wall would actually give you the added benefit of no light spill on your main sump, thus cutting down on algae build up on your equipment.
