Is there any disadvantage to removing the return nozzles in an all in one tank?

I accidentally broke off a return nozzle in my tank the other day and didn’t have glue on hand to fix it. Looking at it, I realized I like the look without the nozzles much more; it feels much less invasive into the tank space. Here’s a pic to clarify what I mean if it’s not clear;

Can I just remove the other one too? Is there any reason to not do this?
