Any Floyd fans going to see Roger Waters next week. Can't wait to see The Wall come to life after all these years. Too bad Gilmore wont be playing guitar, o well it is what it is.

I got Roger Waters video of the wall when "The Band" and all the rest of older rockers did it. Was pretty awsome really. But there will be Nothing like Pink Floyd with Waters and Gilmore ever.

I am going to see the show at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan on the 24th. I have seen Waters solo several times including in Birmingham England. Gilmore has agreed to play Comfortably Numb with Waters during one show on this tour. They are keeping it a secret which show it will be. You never know. Dave could be playing guitar at the show you attend.:)

I went to the Pro"s & Cons concert at the Joe, Clapton was playing lead on the tour, but left the tour right before the Detroit gig. I'll be in section 115 next Sunday, might see you there Andy

I was at that show as well! I also saw Waters twice on the "In the Flesh" tour. DTE Energy and NEC in Birmingham, England. I also attended the "Dark Side of the Moon" show at the Palace. A friend has my tickets but if I remember correctly we will be in section 120. Dead center first section behind main floor. I have dreamed of seeing this show since I was 12 years old! lol

I seen the "the Wall' in Berlin and Dark Side of the Mooon in soldier field when Pretty awsome indeed, Gilmore is my favorite Guitarist ever, Flyod my band But best live show I ever seen was Genesis with peter Gabierl at vocals in Manitoba, Man that was great show, But then again it coulda been associated air around me that made it great!!!

I have seen Pink Floyd without Waters a couple of times. The shows were incredible but they lacked the Waters cohesiveness. He tends to assemble conceptual ideas into one cohesive piece just like their albums. Gilmour is hands down my favorite guitar player but Waters used Jeff Beck on his solo album "Amused to Death". Beck plays some amazing stuff.

Yeah beck isnt bad, But does not rate with Gilmore. I seen Floyd both times with Waters, and doubt I would ever see them without or solo, Only reason is once you seen the best anything else would be a disappointment,

Actually from a technical standpoint Beck is much better than Gilmour. However Gilmour makes GREAT choices in terms of notes. Waters was the creative catalyst in Pink Floyd. The true genius. Gilmour, Wright, and Mason hired a team of over 30 songwriters when they made the two records without Waters. The records still weren't very good. Waters dubbed them "Pink Floyd 1987 limited, and a cast of thousands" LOL! Gilmour can play and I love his style. His vocals are awesome as well but as his solo work demonstrates, he doesn't have "ideas". I missed Waters in the Floyd shows that he wasn't involved in. I didn't really miss Gilmour in the times I have seen Waters solo. The other two frankly can be replaced with any competent musicians.

Agreed, Waters is the true artist of Floyd. Had they not kicked Barret out, I wonder if Waters would have developed into the brilliant songwriter that he is today
