Hi. I purchased this wrasse last Friday
2 nights ago I noticed him swimming weird. It looks like his swim bladder. At least that's my guess. He is still eating. Is there anything at all I can do for him? I hate watching things suffer but I can't Euthanize him so please don't suggest it. He is in a 10 gallon qt tank. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can be swim bladder or neurological which is not uncommon with certain wrasses
It may or may not recover and assure good water quality and add oxygen via air stone

I’d say the dreaded wrasse neurological disease … usually fatal!

Going by it’s a 10G tank he’s currently in, I’m going to say it could be a spinal injury. but this could also be UNWD as they have both got similar signs.
The reason I think it may be Spinal Injury is due to flashers being in small tanks can cause them to dart into the walls or possibly jump and get hit with the lid and harm their spine.

Thanks for the help

It does look like what I termed "UNWD" - it is a disease of unknown cause and is virtually always fatal, sorry.

Can other wrasse catch it ? Is it contagious?
It doesn’t seem to be highly contagious. We see it only in newly acquired wrasses and while some in the same group may develop it, other existing wrasses in the tank seem immune.

I can’t see video but by the sounds of it there isn’t much you can do but say some words and hope.

A stressed wrasse will keep tail low and swim like injured. You or any fish could be stressing him. Not seeing the video I’m trying to say stress, swim bladder, spine or something neurological are things that it could be. All little different when you watch them swim.

Good luck I’m sending good vibes
