Just found this on the snail shell that I picked up today, should I crush it or is it OK to keep on the snail shell?

Yeah, that's a barnacle. I'm not aware of any snail-parasitic barnacles, so it's probably a harmless filter-feeder (and it will probably die off on it's own soon unless you're dosing phyto and pods to the tank).

Yeah figured I would leave it and it would die off sooner or later
