How can i make these shells suitable for my reef?

So i went to the beach the other day and when i was there i picked up some shells that caught my eye. Some with barnacles on, some are muscle shells, other mollusk shells and also parts of a crab carcass.

Is there anything i must do to be able to add them to my tank?

Ive added lots of shells from beach to my tank, all I ever did was soak them in water overnight and rinse them off.

If you are concerned, just gently boil them, then let them dry / cool and in they go!

Warm water seems to clean mine overnight.
