wild caught

So i went to the beach the other day and when i was there i picked up some shells that caught my eye. Some with barnacles on, some are muscle shells, other mollusk shells and also parts of a crab carcass. (shown in picture) Is there anything i must do to be able to add them to my tank?

I’ve been collecting Zoa with my bf for a while now. Happen to stumble across a bunch of weird ones, possibly the first in the hobby? I don’t know, I’ll just show off these two for now!

Has anyone that live in cali or Florida or anywhere near those ever gone out and caught fish or inverts for their aquarium? I’m wanting to go but I’m wondering if it’s worth going just for that.
