Just this morning I found this little guy in distress. What is it and what can I use to medicate it..? I do have 3 more pajama cardinals but no signs at all. I have noticed they have been chasing him away for about a week now. But now he is hardly eating now as well... Can I just dip him in something..? Like I say I have not to many fish mostly corals.. # Cardinal's and 2 Tangs and 2 purple fire fish... Help

If you noticed this particular cardinal being chased, it could be an injury and not leftover fish food as it originally looked like for me.

This is a mouth injury and as they are a calm fish, mainly active at night, but they also startle easily and may have crave crashed into an object causing mechanical injury. Based on severity of the mouth, I would transfer to a separate tank and treat with seachem Neoplex for best chance of healing
Brine shrimp can be inhaled and may offer best chance of a meal

I agree, that is an injury. You can't "medicate" physical trauma like that, the fish needs to repair the tissue damage themselves. There is a slight chance of secondary bacterial infection, and that can be treated, but you need to isolate this fish from the others.

Guys it looks a fungus to me... It does.. He is so docile hides and moaps around. :(

External fungal diseases are common in freshwater fish, but extremely rare in marine fish. I’ve only seen a couple of cases and they look different than this.
