Is this a parasite?

Noticed this on my new Kole Tang...not sure if it’s a flat worm or some other parasite. See the weird bump on the tail. Any ideas? Tank is still coral free...should I just treat with praziquantel?

You are welcome. I don't know what that bump is, but I have seen them before? Kind of looks like lymphocystis but I don't think that it is.

It’s possibly an injury healing. At least in pictures doesn’t appear like an isopod or an external parasite.

Yes, picking algea everywhere. Starting to learn about the frozen food.
