My tank is relatively new (4 months). Recently, today I noticed a couple of tiny specs of some type of transparent creatures that are attached to the glass. Is this an aiptasia? It's about the size of a pen tip. While I was trying to take a picture, one of them detached from the glass and floated away.

Here's another picture without blue light.

That name doesn't sound good lol. Are they harmful to fish or corals? I have a peppermint shrimp and a 6-line wrasse in another tank I can move over. Would these help?

Yes sir. The peppermint shrimp should take care of it. If you can, scrap and siphon it out of the tank if it's still on the glass.

This is what aiptasia will look like. Those hydroids in your tank should go away overtime!
