Hey All,

Appreciate your help in IDing what I found on my tank. I found this on my little rock island that I put in that was live dry rock a couple weeks ago to start a Zoa garden. I think this looks like Aiptasia, but just wanted to get a second opinion from experts.

Destroy it immediately!

Aiptasia x or the cheaper, just as efficient option, boiling hot water and a turkey baster

Since it was a small rock island, I just took it out and will toss it out. Cannot see anymore but probably will grab a couple perppermint shrimp to be safe.

D.I.P.

Dip, Inspect, Prevent
No dip kills aptasia, in fact it just causes them to retract in their hole and impossible to inspect for and therefor prevent.

@OP just kill it, don't have to toss that rock and like mentioned above if it was dry rock it didn't come on it, it moved into it from else where so search for more.
