My basement is unheated, and it does to get to 58F in super cold winder and 25% humidity. My 200G have a helios 1000w heater. And i was wondering if my temp fluctuating a lot or is it handling it perfectly. The pic attached was 1 day ago: my friend saying thats a lot of temp fluctuations? 76.5 77.5 please someone confirm?

While my tank is in living space. So house temps stays 69-72F. My IM helios stays right on a .1-.2 fluctuation based off hydros temp sensor.

Seeing as your in the basement. It would make more sense to see fluctuations like this. If you want to tighten up your fluctuations. Just add an additional heater. But no, 1 degree swings are not detrimental.

No worries. Mines in my living room and this is typical of the temp graph for the last 2 years. No issues with fish or corals.
