Is this coral dead

So I got the mushroom for $10 at LFS and this is how it looked in the store. It’s been in my tank for about 3 days and seems like a little more red has shown up but hard to tell honestly. Is this coral on the way out? Is it supposed to be this white?

It is bleached. Under proper parameters it should recover.

Curled up. Releasing from it chosen spot (this could be other reasons too) spilling its internals out. Shriveling.
