This used to be a happy healthy Duncan, then in my prior tank it bailed out half its polyps and the ones that remained looked like this. It has looked like this in my current tank for seven months now, neither improving nor dying.

Do I give up on it? Do I just park it somewhere out of the way and see what happens? Why might it look like this? (Ignore the cyano, it looked like this before my current outbreak)

Parameters:
SG 1.025
Alk: 9.5dkh
Cal: 400
Mag: 1125
Nitrate: 6.5
Phosphate: 0.5 (I think; i can’t read salifert tests easily)

What type of flow do you have it in right now ?

Duncans can be very resilient. doesn't look very happy, I would think you could nurse back. make sure par is sufficient. and it's not getting blasted with flow.

Got it. I can definitely give it more light, and am dosing magnesium daily! Glad that there is still hope for it!
You got this, they are hardly, you’ll turn it around.

Feeding them once or twice a week with some meaty foods might have them bounce
I was feeding reef roids for a while but have paused while I work on a cyano situation. I'll try chopping up some food to pipette onto it! This really used to be a lovely duncan, I hope I can bring it back to life.

Feed them some frozen brine or mysis and spot feed them! They love them
