Is this flow make sense or is there a better way?

My 40 gallon has finally had the addition of a birds nest and montipora (I think) so I am having trouble figuring out the most optimal flow where everyone is happy. Any tips? My pump is on the top right (pvc) and my wave maker is top left (black thing)
