Hey guys, I was wondering if this glass cover from home depot is a good cover for my fluval.

I personally don't think that's a great choice. The packaging is telling you that the edges have not been polished, so you'd have to be very, very careful to not cut yourself every time you moved the piece of glass. And at 3/32" thick that's very thin, and I feel like it will break easily.

If you want to use something from Home Depot look for a piece of plexiglass that won't break.

Or you may consider one of the aftermarket lids for that tank.

Haha, I kind of agree, but people say they are very nice lids. An ATO is a good idea, especially on a smaller tank.

i used a piece of cheap glass like that on my fluval for a year or so. Sanded the edges and am just careful. No issues. For $12 thats good enough for me. Just had the store cut it to lay on top
