I bought this hammer about 2 weeks ago. I’m not sure if it’s semi opened/fully open or is it trying to split but polys seem to be pushed to one side. Also wonder if the Flow is bouncing off the glass and hitting it too hard.

Any thoughts? On why polyps are pulling to one side?

Try to fix your flow so that the coral sways back and forth, it shouldn't pull to one side. Salinity and alk are a little low. The white substrate gives it away as a brand new tank. So it seems to have a lot to adjust to in your tank, it will take time. Keep everything as stable as possible.

Yeah I will move it onto a rock where there is some flow obstruction so its not just getting blown to one side.

It's acclimating. We also need magnesium and alk to determine what's wrong. Hammers and torches like it elevated around 1400 or so.
yeah its new. Had it since the beginning February so a little more then 2 months old.

Mag is at 1484
Alk was at 6.6 at the time which was about 4 days ago. Now dkh is at 7.7
Nitrates are a bit high at 17ppm.
