Is this hobby safe from the upcoming tariffs?

Is this hobby safe from the upcoming tariffs? Are our products (tanks, filters, accessories, supplies, etc. that are made from China) safe from the upcoming tariffs? I am asking this because other hobbies are not. For example, the model railroading hobby (where 99% of all products are from China) could become extinct within 6 months if the tariffs go through. Is the aquarium hobby safe as it is now?

For now yes but everything and I mean everything is going to rise in price if/when they go into effect.

Most equipment will go up but livestock shouldn't. Tarrifs will eventually work out.

Nope. As said reefbreeders implemented a 15% increase effective today and I guess IM too. My good friend imports coral and fish and right or wrong, his best supplier in Bali sent a email saying everything will increase a few %.

Nope. As said reefbreeders implemented a 15% increase effective today and I guess IM too. My good friend imports coral and fish and right or wrong, his best supplier in Bali sent a email saying everything will increase a few %.

What I mean by safe, is will this hobby still exist?

Livestock prices will be going up as well. I got word earlier today that a new 10% charge is being placed on all items in a particular box AND the freight charge for said box coming out of the Pacific. I would expect other collection regions (Africa, Caribbean) to follow suit.
