This Ultron Favia came with these white stringy things. They’ve started to grow over the rock and I’m wondering if they’re hydroids or something else?

I think its a sponge. is it like a hard tube?
Not super hard, they flow in the current a little, Although I touched them and broke one in half easily. I didn’t know that was a sponge? I’ve seen tons of pineapple sponges but didn’t know they come in this white stringy shape?
