Hello all,

I think I have some sort of hydroid in my tank which the only thing that has been introduced in the last month has been Clean Chaeto from AlgaeBarn...

Should I worry about these?

They are mostly on the glass and backwall that I can see and there is ALOT lol.

Also my tank is like completely covered in green film algae Snails and more CUC on the way :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

From what I know, they can only sting, which really only becomes a problem with corals.

I believe as the tank matures, they will slowly go away, but you can scrape them off the glass, with a net around so they go directly into the net.

Don't worry about it, I have a few on my glass and have seen no issues so far.

Yeah I was just gonna scrape them off. I don't have any coral in the tank yet I have two frags in QT tank at the moment

You should be fine.

I have 6 corals in my 15g with a decent amount on the glass, and like I said I have seen no issues.

I think it only becomes a issue with bigger species.
