I catch my Hippo Tang scratching but it does not have that many white spots could this be ICK?? I did not mark the spots so if you can identify them means it does have it.

I see what this fish is prone to which are mucus cones often from a skin irritation and at times are mixed in with ich and Often you will notice other occupants show no signs but recommended is to remove all fish and treat them as well using coppersafe or copper power for a full 30 days at 2.25ppm which they respond to well and add an air stone and monitor copper level with a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.

The pictures aren’t quite clear enough to confirm if it is ich or flukes, or perhaps both.

It looks like the fish is in a quarantine tank? Who else is in with it?
Is the ammonia level testing low?
Have you dosed any medications yet?

One thing to be aware of - due to ich’s life cycle, early on, the parasites are all about the same age, so they drop off the fish to reproduce at about the same time. That can make it seem like the parasite went away, when actually it is just off the fish and reproducing and will return in greater numbers.
