Is this light good?

I'm in the process of getting a t5 fixture. I'm Thinking of getting the aquatic life 4 bulb with built in timer . Then I saw this 6 bulb on ebay that looks very similar he says its a aqua marine I have never heard of this brand. He says it has individual reflectors. Wich one should I get?

If ya wanna get the fixture and swap out the bulbs for good ones you would be totally fine IMHO.... I have seen it a million times people buy these super duper high dollar fixtures and a few of my friends got fleabay specials and they bleach sps in there tanks..... Just get the good bulbs and your in buisness...;)

I agree with troylee, I grew sps in my 75 gal with a 4 bulb ebay fixture with ATI bulbs. However I would at least ask for better pics of the actual fixture. It could end up being half way decent or it could be a piece of crap. It doesn't look like it has fans so the only thing that I'd like about this fixture is that it has timers (provided they work well). For not much more money you can pick up a 6 bulb tek fixture which a lot of people seem to like and you know what you are getting with that. Look for a used fixture too, there are some deals to be had you just have to be patient and look around.

I don't like built in timers. Just more stuff that could go wrong. At least if you had to buy Xmas tree timer at walmart you could replace them cheap.

I would ask the seller if the unit is UL listed.
