Is this little guy (crab) a LPS eater?

All of my rock came from the Gulf of Mexico and the FL Keys. I know I've got a huge bristleworm in the tank (I've seen him) but have read they don't really mess with living stuff. On the other hand, when I was moving the tank over the weekend, I found this little guy. He's in with my macro at the moment (unless he takes a shine to eating that....) but I didn't want to put him back in the tank.

Edit: Oops! Forgot to add! My mushrooms seem fine, the gorgonian seems fine, but all the LPS I've tried since I have gotten the tank has vanished rather quickly, and I was hoping this little guy might be the culprit since it's the stuff I want to keep most.

Others can correct me here, but I think that's a gorilla crab in which case I don't believe it's reef-safe.

It's not a gorilla crab, but it doesn’t look friendly!

That is to say, I don’t know of any crabs which are reliably reef safe when mature… they seem to eventually take to eating coral polyps, even when offered alternative foods!

It does have stone crab vibes.

The only truly reef safe crabs I'm aware of are porcelain crabs and Trapezia.

Here’s a stone crab I pulled out of my tank about six weeks ago. A different color but probably because yours came from rock out of the Gulf of Mexico and mine came from rock out of the Gulf of America.
