is this lobo too far gone

my dad bought this lobo for like 40$ because he thought he could save it. imo one of the four mouths already is kinda decaying already, i think it’s too far gone. it still has some tissue all around the skeleton but i think it’s REALLY dead already.

It may have a slight chance. First to do is to get it off the sand which is probably irritating it. Assure moderate light and water flow and that salinity and calcium not low and phosphate and temperature are not elevated
